Welcome to the
DBSA NCA Family Support Group
 web page!

The Support Group is for family members and loved ones of people who have mood disorders (e.g., clinical depression, bipolar illness).  We meet twice a month (the first and third Wednesdays of the month) at the Parish Hall of St. Raphael's Church in Rockville.  For more information about meeting times and locations see the calendar.

The next support group meeting is Wednesday, April 18, 7:30 at the Parish Hall of St. Raphael's Church, Dunster Road and Falls Road, Rockville. If the Montgomery County schools are closed for weather or other safety issues, the meeting is cancelled.

Educational Event:  April 19, 7:30 PM, George Washington University Hospital Auditorium (900 Twenty-Third Street, NW; Next to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station; Parking Garage at I St., between 21st and 22nd Sts).  Dr. Julia Frank talking about her recent book "The Psychotherapy of Hope".  The title of her talk is "Beyond CBT, IPT, DBT - Psychotherapy for Depression is more than Alphabet Soup".
